Node - Clear Children

Removes all child nodes from the selected Node, deleting their contents from the repository.

Remarks

Overview

The Clear Children command deletes all immediate children of the selected Node. This operation is permanent and cannot be undone.

  • All child nodes and their descendants are removed from the repository.
  • Any files or resources associated with deleted nodes are also removed.
  • The parent node itself is not affected.

Usage

Use this command to quickly clear the contents of a Folder, Project, or other container node without deleting the container itself.

  • The command is only available when the node is writable, can have children, is not marked as read-only, and contains at least one child.
  • This operation is not available for nodes with the 'Contents Read Only' flag or for nodes that cannot have children.

Caution:
This action is irreversible. Ensure that you have reviewed the contents to be deleted before executing this command.
