Edge Adjustment Grooper.Extract

Adjusts a region edge by a fixed distance, relative to its current position.

Remarks

'Relative' moves the selected edge (left, top, right, or bottom) by a specified amount, either inward or outward from its current location.

This adjustment is useful for fine-tuning region boundaries, compensating for consistent offsets, or expanding/shrinking a region by a known amount. The adjustment is applied after any other edge adjustments, such as anchors or absolute positioning.

Usage

  • Set the 'Distance' property to the amount by which to move the edge.
  • Positive values move the edge right or down (expanding the region).
  • Negative values move the edge left or up (shrinking the region).

> Tip:
> Combine 'Relative' with other Edge Adjustments for advanced extraction scenarios, such as aligning to an anchor and then shifting the edge by a fixed offset.
