The Custom Input Format property allows you to define a regular expression for parsing custom numeric input patterns.

• The regular expression must define a group named Value, and may optionally define groups named Fraction and Sign.
• Use this property to support specialized input formats not covered by standard or alternate formats.
• The parsed value is constructed from the named groups and then converted to a numeric value.

Required Regex Groups

• Value: (required) The main numeric portion to parse.
• Fraction: (optional) Digits to the right of the decimal point.
• Sign: (optional) A single +, -, or space character.

How It Works

• If a Fraction group is present, the Value group is treated as the integer/whole part, and Fraction as the decimal part.
• If a Sign group is present, it is prepended to the value.
• The resulting string is parsed as a decimal number.
