Node - Publish To Repository

Node Command Grooper.Core

Publishes a configuration object to one or more Grooper repositories.

Remarks

The Publish To Repository command allows you to deploy configuration objects—such as Projects, Folders, or other Nodes—to one or more target Grooper repositories. This is essential for promoting configuration changes between development, test, and production environments, or for sharing reusable components across distributed Grooper systems.

When to Use

  • To migrate or synchronize configuration objects between Grooper repositories.
  • When deploying updates from a development or staging environment to production.
  • To share reusable Projects, extractors, or other configuration items with other teams or environments.

How It Works

  • Select the Node or nodes you wish to publish.
  • Choose one or more target repositories using the 'Target Repositories' property.
  • The command packages the selected items and transfers them to each target repository, preserving structure and relationships.
  • The operation logs the results and provides progress feedback.

> Note: Only writable repositories that are accessible and compatible with the current Grooper version will be available for selection.
