Node Query

Set this property to restrict the search results to a specific Node type, such as Batch Folder, Batch Page, or Project. The drop-down list provides all available node types in the repository.

• Leave blank to include all node types in the search.
• Use this to focus the query on a particular class of objects for targeted results.

Example

To find only Batch Folders: Object Type: Batch Folder

Enter a value to search for nodes whose 'Name' property matches the specified pattern. The % character may be used as a wildcard:

• grooper returns nodes named exactly "grooper".
• grooper% returns nodes whose names begin with "grooper".
• %grooper returns nodes whose names end with "grooper".
• %grooper% returns nodes whose names contain "grooper".

Name searches are not case sensitive.

Can be one of the following types:

Set this property to filter search results based on whether nodes are referenced elsewhere in the repository.

• true: Only include nodes that are referenced by other nodes.
• false: Only include nodes that are not referenced (potentially orphaned).
• Leave blank to disable reference filtering.

This is useful for identifying unused or orphaned configuration items.

Enter a value to search for nodes whose display name matches the specified pattern. Supports regular expressions for advanced matching.

• Use this to find nodes as they appear in the UI, regardless of their internal name.
• Leave blank to disable display name filtering.

Example

Enter a regular expression to search the full text content of Batch Folders or Batch Pages.

• Only available when the selected 'Object Type' is a derivative of Batch Object.
• Use this to find nodes containing specific text, patterns, or data within their content.
• Supports .NET regular expression syntax.
