Attached File

Export Format Grooper.Core

Exports an item's attachment or a specific named file from a Batch Folder or Batch Page.

Remarks

The Attached File format enables export of the primary attachment or a custom-named file associated with a Batch Folder or Batch Page.

Overview

  • By default, exports the main attachment of the item (such as a PDF, TIFF, or other file).
  • If the 'Filename' property is set, exports the file with the specified name instead.
  • If the item is a Batch Folder with no attachment, an image version containing all descendant pages will be exported.

Usage

  1. Select Attached File as the export format in your export activity.
  2. Optionally, set the 'Filename' property to export a specific file generated by a previous activity (such as a custom XML or highlighted PDF).
  3. If 'Filename' is left blank, the default attachment will be exported.

When to Use

  • When you need to deliver the original or processed file associated with a document or folder.
  • For exporting custom-named files generated by activities like XML Transform or Merge.
  • When downstream systems require the native file format for further processing or archiving.

> Note:
> If the item has no attachment and is a folder, an image rendition of all pages will be exported instead.
