Attachment Type - Change Extension

Changes the file extension of an attachment.

Remarks

The ChangeExtension command updates the file extension of the attachment for the current Batch Folder.

Workflow

• Specify the new extension using the NewExtension property (e.g., ".pdf", ".txt").
• The command renames the attachment, changing only the file extension, and saves the change to the database.

Usage Notes

• Use this command to correct or standardize file extensions after conversion or import.
• The command is available only if the folder has a local attachment.
