File System Link - Move File

Move the remote file to a new location on the file system.

Remarks

The Move File command moves the external file to a new directory on disk and updates the File System Link to reference the new location. The link and associated Batch Folder are updated to reflect the move, and the operation is validated to ensure the target directory exists.

• Use this command to reorganize files on disk as part of your workflow.
• The file is physically moved; if a file with the same name exists in the target directory, the move will not occur.
• After execution, the 'File Path' property is updated to the new location.

Target Folder	String	►	The directory to which the file will be moved. EditorFile Directory Editor The 'Target Folder' property specifies the destination directory on disk where the file will be moved. The file will retain its original name. > Example: C:\Archive\2024\Invoices Ensure the target directory exists and is accessible from the Grooper environment. If a file with the same name already exists in the target directory, the move will not occur. After moving, the File System Link will reference the new location.
