Batch Object - Rename

Renames the selected Batch Object to a new display name.

Remarks

The Rename command allows you to update the display name of a selected Batch Object, such as a Batch Folder or Batch Page. Use this command to provide a more descriptive or meaningful name for an item in the batch tree.

This command is useful for clarifying the contents or purpose of a folder or page, correcting naming errors, or standardizing naming conventions across your batch structure.

> Note: The command is only available when a single item (other than the batch root) is selected.

Properties

Name	Type		Description
New Name	String	►	The new name to assign to the selected item. The New Name property specifies the display name that will be assigned to the selected Batch Object. Enter a descriptive name to help identify the item's contents or role in the batch. The new name will appear in the batch tree and in the item's properties. Example: To rename a folder containing invoices, you might enter January Invoices 2024. > Note: Avoid using characters that are not allowed in file or folder names on your system.
