Batch Object - Move To Test Batch

Moves selected items to a test batch, removing them from their original location and optionally flagging them.

Remarks

The Move To Test Batch command transfers the selected Batch Objects to the specified test batch, removing them from their original batch or folder. This command is designed for scenarios where you need to isolate items for further analysis, troubleshooting, or reprocessing in a non-production environment.

Use this command to:

• Remove problematic or exceptional items from a production batch and move them to a test batch for investigation.
• Re-route documents or folders that require additional review, correction, or validation outside of the main workflow.
• Support quality assurance, regression testing, or solution development by moving real-world examples into a test context.

When executed, the selected items are physically moved to the target test batch, preserving their structure and metadata. Optionally, you can set the 'Flag Reason' property to annotate the moved items in the test batch, providing context for reviewers or testers.

> Note: This command is only enabled when one or more items (excluding the batch root) are selected and a valid > target batch is specified. Once moved, the items are no longer present in their original batch or folder.

Flag Reason	String	►	The reason to assign when flagging items in the target batch. ConverterFlag Reason Converter The Flag Reason property allows you to annotate copied or moved items in the target batch with a message describing why they require review or special handling. Optionally specify a flag reason to help reviewers or testers understand the context or issue. The list of available reasons is determined by the current Task View and may include standard or custom messages. If left blank, no flag will be applied to the items in the target batch. Example flag reasons might include: For regression testing, Suspected data issue, or Requires manual review.
