Batch Folder - Extract

Runs data extraction on the selected Batch Folder and saves the results.

Remarks

The Extract command executes the configured extraction logic for the Content Type's Data Model on the selected folder.

Overview

• Use this command to extract, validate, and populate structured data from documents or folders.
• Extraction logic is defined by the Data Model and its child Data Fields, Data Sections, and Data Tables.

Usage Notes

• The command will overwrite any existing data values with new extraction results.
• If the FlagIfInvalid property is enabled, the folder will be flagged if any extracted data elements fail validation.
• This command is useful for batch processing, data validation, and preparing documents for export or downstream activities.
• Extraction can be performed manually or as part of an automated batch process.

Properties

Flag If Invalid	Boolean	►	If enabled, the document will be flagged if any extracted data elements contain validation errors. DefaultFalse When FlagIfInvalid is true, the folder will be marked as flagged if any extracted data fails validation. The flag message will indicate the first validation error encountered. Use this option to highlight documents that require review or correction after extraction. If false, extraction results are saved but no flag is set for invalid data.
