Batch - Remove Job History

Batch Command Grooper.Core

Deletes all jobs and tasks associated with the current batch.

Remarks

The Remove Job History command permanently deletes all Processing Job and Processing Task records for each selected Batch.

Overview

Use this command to:

  • Clean up historical processing data for batches that are no longer active.
  • Reduce the size of the Processing Job and Processing Task tables in the database.
  • Prepare batches for archival or long-term storage by removing detailed processing history.

Usage Notes

  • This operation is irreversible. Once job and task history is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
  • Only batches in a non-active status (Paused, Completed, or Error) can have their job history removed.
  • Removing job history does not affect the batch content, structure, or metadata—only the processing records are deleted.
  • Use this command periodically to maintain database performance and prevent excessive growth of job/task tables, especially in high-volume environments.
